The present program offers a reconstruction of the Coronation ceremeny for the Emperor Charles V in 1530. The program is extremely conjectural, although there is solid evidence for this mass by Gombert, due to its inscription "a la coronation" in one source. One thing which can be stated for certain is that the musical production was extremely lavish.
