The present program is constructed entirely by La Nef, following the tweflth century story of Perceval and the Grail by Chrétien de Troyes. The original texts (Li contes del graal by Chrétien de Troyes and le Le conte du Graal) were not set to music (or do not survive with music), and so the music has been drawn from a variety of sources, English, Irish, Scottish and Welsh; they include The Cuckoo, Ca' the ewes, to the knowes, Donna Warner's scissors, The Farewell of the men of Aberffraw, O Reilly of Athcarne. Miss MacDermott, The Star of the County Down; original music and arrangements by Sylvain Bergeron, but [8], [14], [20] by Claire Gignac.
