This is a live recording made in the Basilica of Santa Maria
Maggiore, Rome, on the ocassion of the 400th anniversary of
Palestrina's death. There is applause after each item, but the
concert noise is minimal during the performances. This performance
is also available on VHS, DVD and laserdisc.
The Missa Papae Marcelli was reissued in Gimell 204
(2 CDs).
