and Trouvere Songs, Tomoe Matsui (soprano) and Danceries, Ichiro
Okamoto, dir. - 1991. In the booklet it is stated: "The
DANCERIES was formed as an early music ensemble by Ichiro
Okamoto in 1972. Their repertoire however is exceptionaly wide.
It includes music diverse as Korean folk music and the works of
Eric Satie. Their recent albums Retour: Medieval songs (1989) and
Cantigas de Santa Maria (1990) won the highest admiration in
Japan.".
