Information from CD.
The Trigonale "Festival of Old Music" was founded in 2003
as a project to introduce a summer festival to Central Carinthia
which would satisfy the wishes of an audience interested in Old
Music and at the same time revitalise cultural and economic
activity in the area.
In the τρίγονον (trigonon,
Gk: triangle) formed by three towns, Maria Saal, St. Veit a.d. Glan
and St. Georgen/Längsee, the festival has discovered venues
which combine architectural aesthetics and excellent sound quality
to provide ideal conditions for concerts. Old art and old structures
together form an ideal symbiosis which both the artists and the
audiences can enjoy in equal measure. (From Trigone website)
