This is the first recording of Scelsi's early major choral-orchestral work, La nascita del Verbo (1946-48).

I must also issue a complaint about the DVD format. Maybe it is good for some people, but for anyone such as myself who does not otherwise watch DVDs, and has only a generic DVD player as part of a combo box, the end result is much worse sound and lessened convenience for a higher price.
