Comments: BWV 1067 and 1070 already issued on LP and performed one player to a part. Interestingly enough, Reinhard Goebel refers to these as "our youthful sins" in the CD notes. These two Overtures can be also found in the "Archiv Masters" series (Archiv 447 285-2 A MA (1 CD)), along with the rest of the Canon & Gigue LP. BWV 1066 and 1069 also reissued in the "Archiv Masters" series (Archiv 447 287-2 A MA (1 CD)) and Archiv 447 288-2 A MA (1 CD)) together with the six Brandenburg Concertos. Another reissue of the four Overtures in the recent "Archiv Collectors Edition" (Archiv 471 656-2 A B8 (8 CDs)), with the complete Brandenburg Concertos and "Kammermusik" records.
